Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Marty I am just seeing this, I am so sorry for your loss.  16 years what a long loving life she had.    Java I can certainly understand how you were a Bassett in your heart.  I have had a Rottie (Bear) and a Terrier (Lady) who thought they were Bassetts too.  

    Run free sweet Java, I am sure you will find your bassett pals hanging out with Buster, Missy, and Lacey my 3 bassett's that have been gone many years now.  They will all know the very best places to hunt.

    I just saw this today.  I imagine Java having lots of fun squirrel hunting with plenty of Bassett buddies.
