Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Oh Tina...I was just reading the thread about you contemplating on whether or not to put her down and now I just read this thread too.
     
    I am so very sorry for you loss. Shari was such a beautful girl.
     
    Just know that she's waiting at the bridge, playing in endless amounts of snow.

    I'm just getting to reading a lot of things that I missed on the forum,,,and I read the other thread about Shari and came here to post.
    Tina I'm so sorry. I'm sitting here bawling for you.  Not for Shari though, she is happy as can be now..you made sure of that. You took all of your love and gave it to her and she felt it all the way until the end. And what a beauty she is too!
    Hang in there Tina, every day will get easier.

    I wanted to tell you in the other thread that the most important time in life is not when we're born or when we die, it's the "dash" in-between that's the most important...
    Shari's "dash" was filled with love, joy, fun, and happiness.
    She will always be with you in your heart and in your memories...
    She lived her dash to the fullest and you made her life even more fullfilled....
