Thank You To All Of You.
Caliber is loved by all that knew her. She has touched so many lives. Even the Dr.s at Red Bank Veterinary here in NJ were crying when I talked to them. With out the great people there she would not have lived the 13 months she did after her diagnosis.
Caliber absolutely loved the snow. She would lay out in the yard during blizzard if you let her. Our wish was for her to see one more snow fall. Sadly she did not. We took her to Abbey Glen also in NJ. We were told she would be the last one to be cremated that day. Then Caliber gave us one last gift before she crossed the bridge. I was walking Remington around the place reading all the markers and I knew it was time to head back to the truck when all of a sudden it started to snow. I knew that was Caliber going over and I broke down in the middle of the field crying. It was the perfect ending.
Caliber would runaway when she saw the camera. I would have to wait her out to get a good shot. She was a gentle giant. Great with all the kids.Caliber and Remington would take naps with my brothers boys and they loved it.
Caliber also loved to swim. We would all go to Round Valley Reservoir and walk around. We have 30ft leashes for this. We would go down by the water and in she went. She would try and swim the lake if you let her.
Remington is doing OK. She misses her, and today when I got home from work she went outside and started crying to me. This was the first day Remington has been alone since Caliber passed. I think she did good.
Thank You all for your Prayers and support. I will tell Caliber in my Prayers to look out for all of your "kids"
