Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

     Glenda, so sorry about Miss Corky.  Between you, me and Erin, this has been a horrible day:-(((  For me, tomorrow will be worse, I fear.  But, glad I have so many friends here, and elsewhere, who know what we are feeling.  <<>>

    Corky will live on in the various posts on this board. I think that most of us were curious and intrigued when you first got her, but over the course of her life and through the many tidbits you shared with us, we came to love her and her sweet little idiosyncrasies. Whether she was a typical duck or not, she was special to all of us and I want to thank you for that. -Fly Free Miss Corky-

    What a lousy day !

    Ms. Corky...swim, dive, fly and eat all you want.  Chase those dogs around and talk up a storm !

    From the bottom of our hearts, thanks so much to all of you.  We FELT each and every hug, and they were so appreciated.

    it's soooo empty without Miss Corky's crate, and so quiet without her chatter.

    I, too, just saw this. I am so sorry! Miss Corky, look for a springer spaniel named Celeigh who loves to swim with ducks. She'll paddle around with you all day. Hungs to you, Glenda, and your whole family/crew.

    Good Morning Little Ducklet.  Did you finish swimming in that river yet?  Any dogs who are waiting for you had a very long wait.

    I miss you, I miss your snuggles and I miss your chatter this morning.  Know how very much you are loved and missed.
