This is so sad. We are all sorry for your loss sambob, and hope little Luger will rest in peace. Occasionally puppies do get diseases that they have been vaccinated against. This article explains it for anyone who may be interested: http://www.dogchannel.com/puppies/healthcare/article00008.aspx. Vets work to cover that window, but sometimes, there's nothing anyone can do.

Oh no! sambob, I don't know what to say that isn't trite. My heart is breaking for you. I know that Luger is among some very special friends that have crossed before him. They will keep him company until you're rejoined.
