Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Oh, I am so sorry.  I know that is an awful emptiness.  Take comfort that you gave him a wonderful life and that he is not suffering. His picture is beautiful; he looks a lot like my Brittany, Zeke; he went to the bridge in 1993.

    I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope things are easing somewhat for you all. And I know exactly what you mean about being able to run your fingers through his fur one more time.Take care.

    I'm so very sorry for your loss of Jax.  I know the day to day routine you were describing -- letting them out to potty, getting meds ready for them, etc.  That whole daily routine is tough to break away from. 
     
    He was a very handsome boy!  And you were both lucky to be in each other's lives.  May time ease your grief and bring back the happiest memories of your life together.
