I am so sorry Glenda, always such a loss when we lose any loved one and you've had your share. Hugs for you. Sheba will be met by many of her friends at the bridge and I know my April and Bonnie will be there.

Oh, Glenda, I just got home and saw this. I am so sorry. She knew this morning, she told you, and then waited to go in quiet. Sheba, you sweet girl--no more feeling crummy. After you have your fabulous reunion with Mike, Thor, your duck, and all the rest of your family, do see if you can find Frisby, Celeigh, Holly, Spot and the rest of my crew. They will show you were all the cookies are stored! And, they can help you find a porkchop to steal, too, if you want!

We laid Sheba to rest under the grape arbor, next to Thor. As always, we lit a votive for her.

Glenda -- we've been emailing but I wanted to post here as well. How lke Sheba to take a page from Thor's book and "go" behind your back!! I bet he was SO glad to see her!!

Even the vets couldn't figure this out ... sometimes the body has just plain "had enough" ... *sigh* -- but you've been on my heart all night!! *hugs*

That first instant when I woke this morning and automatically looked around to see where Sheba was was a little rough. My heart feels a bit like swiss cheese with all the holes in it.

Glenda, I'm really sorry about Sheba. I don't check the Rainbow Bridge section very often, so it wasn't until you mentioned it in NDR that I realized she had gone to the Bridge. {{{Hugs}}}
