Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    They are running free and easy at the Bridge.  (((((Hugs)))))  I know how painful it is even when you know it's time to say goodbye.  My heart is with you.

     I'm very sorry for your loss, and I know how you feel.  It's hard to lose an old dog that you've had such good times with, but you know that they get tired here and need to go... I hope that Sheba has met Fergie and Dancer and that she will be happily playing in the meadows with them until we all meet again.
