Mikey, became Dean and Rexine's boy at the age of 7 months and that was 14 years ago. Mikey has been going down hill and was recently diagnosed with cancer. As hard as they tried and as much as they did for him, Mikey was just in too much pain. Today Dean and Rexine helped Mikey to the Bridge. It was a very difficult decision for them of course but especially for Dean. Mikey was his best friend they were always together. Mikey went to work with Dean, out in the pasture with Dean, to the store with Dean, everywhere with Dean.
Dean and Rexine are friends of mine, they are mourning the loss of their beloved Mikey today. Keep them in your thoughts please. It will be a difficult time as we all know.
