some of you may have followed my thread about seaking vet help here for my guinea pig, poopsy.
poopsy was technically my sister's guinea pig. my sister has gone to germany last fall, so poopsy has been with me for about a year now.
i always thought i didnt bond with her much, but it seems i loved her more than i knew!
poopsy got sick this last week. she had diarrhia and didnt eat. here, vet care for guinea pigs is virtually non-existant. i tried to help her. learned more about guinea pig health in the last few days, than i did in the last year. i hand fed her for almost 2 days. finally she refused to swallow anything at all, so i called my sister, and we decided to let her go yesterday.
poopsy was a shy little thing. everything frightened her. but when i came into the bathroom (where i kept her cage), she would come up to the front of her cage to get petted or cuddled. she would get the zoomies, just like the dogs. she was the cutest little thing.
run free poopsy! you will be missed!
