My brother and SIL wonderful great dane crossed the bridge today. She was such a sweetheart and definitely taken too soon at 7 years old. She was all black. My SIL got her from a breeder in WI. Piper was the first dog for my SIL. She got her before they got married. She was a very active dog, but in the last few years really went downhill. She had a condition that was either Wobblers or something similar. She got bloat and had to have surgery. And just recently began having seizures. My brother and SIL decided today to end her suffering after another rough evening and night of seizures. Poor baby couldn't move at all today.
So, run free Piper. Wait for your mommy at the bridge and know that we all loved you so much.
