Adam - bye sweet horsie

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Adam - bye sweet horsie

I'm a bit bummed today, very sad actually.  Adam, a client and an amazingly gentle horse, is going to be euthanized this afternoon.  He has been battling health issues and is in terrible pain.  He has fought the good fight for a long time and it's over...time for him to go to the Rainbow Bridge and run free without pain.

I will be there today for his transition for support and to celebrate his life, and give thanks for the impact his presence has made in my life.

It feels comforting to write this out.  Thanks for reading.

Run Free Adam! I think it is supposed to hurt when a kind soul leaves this planet. It is very nice of you to help with Adam's passing.

Rest in peace Adam, go to the greener pastures![sm=angel.gif]

So sorry for your loss-it's so hard to let an animal go,as they add so much to our lives and ask so little.
                                                                                                                      Sincerely,
                                                                                                                                 lotsofspots

    Thanks, All. [:)]

It was awful but I was glad to be a part of it, regardless.

It was courageous and kind of you to help him and his people at this sad time.

Be at peace, Adam.  Rest well.

Even though you said they were a client, you have tons of honor for being there for this transition. Though I'm not a religious person, I see angels everywhere. Even if they use a zen buddhist term in their login.

How good it was of you to be with them..to help them thru. Bless you for that!
    Run free Adam!

Robin, I just know there are two great Appy's who will be happy to show him around when he gets there.  Tell him to ask for Sunny & Bub. [sm=angel.gif][sm=angel.gif]

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your horsie friend, Adam.  I know how much your heart can hurt when a special animal dies, even if he is someone else's pet.  We grow very attached to many of them, whether they belong to neighbors, friends, family, even internet friends we've never met!

My friend has two horses, and even though I've spent just a small amount of time with them, I immediately felt their gentle elegance taking hold on me.

You're a dear person to have been there with them at such an emotional time; I'm sure they deeply appreciate it, as did Adam.

Wow...I am truly humbled by the thoughtfulness & kindess behind each and everyone of your replies.  Again, I thank you all...it means more to me than I can express with words.  But I do have a big warm smile on my face & a fuzzy feeling.
