I'm so sorry to hear about the sudden and tragic loss of your sweet Harry. I missed your earlier posts about his seizures -- what a scary and heartbreaking time for you and your family. One of my friends just lost her dog very suddenly last week after only having her for less than a year (a few months ago she spent thousands of dollars of surgery to make her healthy and whole, only to have her fine one day and gone the next). When we lost our beloved dog, it was after a few months of illness, and I thought I'd collapse from exhaustion and worry. I don't know what's worse: watching your furbaby decline and fail over time while you "prepare" for a goodbye, or having them taken from you so suddenly, like Harry, without any chance to do anything. Either way, the crushing pain is the same, and it takes a long time to begin to live with it.
My thoughts are with you and your family. Little Harry, your time was too brief on earth, but you'll have eternal life as an angel now, so watch over all those who love and miss you.
P.S. - When I went back to read your original posts about Harry, I didn't realize he was the dog in that absolutely precious photo of the "twin raspberry tongues" in the bathtub. I think that's one of my all-time favorite photos on this forum! I'm sure Harry is a popular cutie at the Bridge.
