There was a story on the news last week about some fishermen pulling their anchor up, and found a tarp stuck to it. They said it had some bones and hair in it, and they dropped it back in the lake and called the police. The dive team spent days looking for this mystery tarp. Finally today they found it and discovered the remains of a black lab. Nobody knows the story. I just hope the doggy had a happy life. Maybe he loved to swim so his owner thought that would be the best place final resting place would be a lake. I don't know, I guess I'm trying to put a positive spin on an odd, possibly really sad story. Now that they found out that it's a dog and not a human, nobody seems to care. I thought he/she deserved a little memorial. Run free, black doggie.
