Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

     My sister had to put her 14 yr old lab to sleep today - I helped pick her out after she had gotten married, they bought a house and her DH wanted a dog.  She was super sweet and even a couple of weeks ago was still out playing with my niece (7yo) and nephew (10 yo)

    Run free Goldie you were a beautiful, fun loving crazy girl who true to the breed loved everyone and loved to play ball

    What a sweet, innocent face. It's easy to see what a sweet girl she was and how much joy she brought to her family.

     Thanks everyone she really was a sweetie. 

    Ginger the kids were heartbroken last night as was my sister (and I am sure my BIL).  My little niece was pleased when I told her that Bugsy sent her lots of kisses Smile

    I hope in time my sister gets another dog as both kids really love them
