Baylor

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

Thanks... I appreciate this, the smiles are coming with the tears now...  If Dancer has the time, how about a lesson for Pepper, Morgan, Marshall and Baylor [;)]  As  friend said to me yesterday.  All I want for an afterlife is to see my dogs agaign.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Baylor.  He sure was a handsome guy.  I agree with you, it really is odd how the smallest things can break your heart.  Sometimes it happens when you least expect it.

It sounds as if you gave him everything he ever needed.  13 years is a long time... and I think you're looking at his time here the right way... he was a medical marvel.

Miss Dancer is an old soul and I'm sure she will be the good shepherd of all the doggies at the Bridge (in fact, I don't know how they ever got along without her - I said for years that when she died, she'd sleep by the Creator's feet and be his right hand girl).
I want the same afterlife that you do - and I know that in my spirit world there will be spirit dogs. Now you know where my login comes from....all the dogs that went before.

I`m so sorry for your loss. Just take one day at a time is all you can do. Baylor is a handsome boy. I hope he gets to meet Taffy my German Shepard that has also went to the bridge. I know that they would have lots of fun together.
