Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  The fact that she was 14 is a tribute to the wonderful care she must've received from you.  Our friends have a beautiful doberman, and I'm always in awe of his sleek body, shiny coat, and intense gaze when he plants himself in front of me for some affection. 
     
    Casey, you will find many wonderful friends at the Bridge to keep you company while you wait for your family to join you.  Until then, watch over them as they adjust to life without you.  Run free [sm=angel.gif]

    I'm so very sorry to hear about Casey.  Obviously, the love and care you gave her over the years helped her to live a long happy life.  The photo of her is gorgeous.  You're right, she's free and able to run and play just as she used to and making many new friends at the Bridge.

    Isn't is amazing how God interjects into a photo.  That photo is lovely, she sure was an angel.  I have a pic of Holly as a baby with pink heart that just showed up next to her in the pic.  Amazing.
     
    I know how you feel.  Just know you will be reunited and it will be great.  No more pain for you or her.  We are all here for you. Run free Casey girl.
