Diagnosis is...

    Diagnosis is...

    High Grade Lymphoblastic Lymphoma!!!

Yeah...once again I'm devastated!  What makes this worse is the fact that the doctor said this was pointless to treat with Chemo.  We argued some...I said it was Stage 3 substage A and she tried to tell me it was late Stage4 to 5.  Oh...and this is without doing ultrasounds or xrays or bone marrow aspirates, etc.

I need a BIG bottle of whiskey or rum or vodka....and maybe a 2X4.

On a good note Tessy's CBC results were all good!  ....Not like it makes me feel any better!  :(

This is unreal and I know you must be devastated.  I wish it was in my power to help but all I can do is send good thoughts and pray. (((hugs)))

Oh Johnny, I'm so sorry to hear about Tessy's results!

If I drove over with a bottle o' something strong, would it help?

I'm so sorry to read this.  Are you planning to get further testing done to determine the grade?

At this point I'm finacially drained.  Small chance that maybe next week BUT I'd still prefer to start treatment if possible before then.  Given the clinical symptoms I'd assume it to be late stage 3 with a slight SLIGHT possibility of stage 4 (both with a substage A).  It's def. multicentric (for now).

She runs around and wags her tail with the ball in her mouth still so how can I sit back and NOT treat it???

That is probably one of the toughest spots to be in. I totally sympathize with what you are feeling and it sucks :( So sorry.

I hear ya, and I'd be doing the same...treat it anyway.  If it can extend her life without pain & suffering, why not do it, right?

Man, Tessy sure is one lucky girl to have you!!

d@mn.  *sigh* I am so darned sorry.  However -- with a cancer diet and some herbs the quality of life can be surprisingly long,

Not what any of us wanted to hear and most of all you ... you have been such an incredible help and support on the IMHA thread.  You make a HUGE difference.  (((hugs))) ... darn it, I wish I could just take it all away.

I'm so very, very sorry Johnny. ((((hugs))))  Feeding a cancer diet and using some herbs like Callie suggests will give you some tools to help Tessy while you're deciding what to do as far as more tests and treatment.

    • Gold Top Dog

Oh, Johnny, I am so sorry. I've been through this one with two dogs and it is difficult. Hugs to you and Tessy.
