Leaving early.

Hey ladies,

I wasn't planning on leaving for the Holiday (going to Reno) till tomorrow or Sunday, but really bad weather is coming this way... and if we don't leave tonight we may not get there till after Christmas! So, I've spent the day preparing and am leaving tonight... will get there sometime tomorrow afternoon, please keep us in your thoughts. It's a 12-13 hrs drive through some potentially very inclement weather over 2 passes...... Reno is FAR lol

I'll be back to check on the forum when i can.

I hope that the forum calms down and Christmas cheer permeates it soon! :)

Hope you're travelling safe, chick...in fact you should be there already I think?

I'll catch you as and when, and you'll get the annual xmas day phone call if I arrive home from the in-laws sober enough to dial. ;)

THANK YOU GUYS!!!

It was a long, long drive. We barely stayed ahead of the storm... most of Oregon was blowing snow/fog which was unpleasant. California had just had the storm that was in Seattle thursday and the roads were closed, they opened them like a half hour before we got there and it was icy.. but open and we made it over. Now apparently they are having blizzard conditions in WA. I must say I think I'm glad I'm not there for this "potentially historic" storm.

Dogs did great, but we are all tired. In fact, I'll go one step further, I'm exhausted. Driving all night turns out is tiring! :o)

Thanks again... glad to be here. Now there is the getting back!
