Steve update

Well they've moved his surgery forward to.....Tuesday lol. Which in a way is good because I don't have much time to worry, I need to do laundry and everything LOL. They want to get it out before the infection flares up again, they've decided not to do a bone graft which cuts down on the complications, and they expect him to be in the hospital for a day or two (until Wednesday or Thursday).

I won't be around at all on Tuesday unless I have the energy to check in when I get home in the evening, Wed/Thurs I may be, we'll have to see how things go.

Kate, all our best from here to Steve and to you too, for a nice by the book, surgery and total recovery. Don't worry we'll fold down the hort...erm I mean hold down the fort! Wink

LOL thanks Gina! I'm sure he'll be fine, no doubt he'll be a whiney little so-and-so afterwards when he's in pain haha. I do feel a bit bad for him, he's going to be on the couch dosed up to his eyeballs with painkillers on his birthday (next Friday) but in the grand scheme of things getting this sorted out is more important and celebrations can be postponed for a week.
