Thoughts on Ron's "everyone hates Anne" post? I am tempted to edit it as it's technically off topic and not about dog behavior...more like a "Our Community issue"

This may be off topic too but why can everyone else on the forum rant about their JOB, their neighbor, people at the dog park, I could go on for ever so etc. Oh ya right they aren`t dog trainers. BUT just because she is a dog trainer and this is a dog forum all is let loose on her. She can`t rant about her job as everyone else here on the forum just because of what she does. How sad.
spiritdogs - I for one love to read your posts and your replies to help people and I have learned a lot from you. Thanks
Because it's political and I don't mean the national partisan polemics in the general election. It's not even an anti-dog trainer thing, it's an anti-Anne thing. Plus, a number of people are ready to take offense at whatever you have to say. I could say that I like sunny days and someone will come along and accuse me of describing those who like cloudy days as being off-kilter, not as smart, whatever. That's pretty much what happened here. SD described some things and people here who happened to like cloudy days or used a piece of equipment she described assumed she was ranting about them, which she was not. Which of course, always allows someone to doubt her abilities, wisdom, experience, creds, in spite of the fact that she's been dealing with dogs longer than some people here have been alive (sorry, SD). And, then the veracity of SD's statements get lost in the crapfest that ensues. Because it's not about right or wrong, truth, or knowledge, it's about personalities.
People used to doubt Ann's creds all the time. So, she started sigging them and it hasn't stopped the slings and arrows. Because, evidently, it's not about knowledge, it's about cult of personality."
