Agreed....I sent him an email but no response.  Will have to wait until Monday when I can confirm....

As Kate said, I met a mod from dogforums at the match yesterday. We were comparing notes.  They closed his post requesting money, BUT he posted again "Ask and ye shall receive! Someone paid my vet bill for me, God Bless them!", the banned him immediately.  So we may be getting more attention.

I don't like this, I think he's now learned if he asks for money he'll get it.

In regards to Glenda's AR on Edie, I don't think it's that rude.  I think it's an opinion.  But that's just me.

Agreed...I also don't think Kelly was rude to Callie really.  I personally think this person needs a vacation and IF they return with the same behavior...they need to be shown the door. The religion and money seeking is grating and more people will snap like Edie eventually and that could result in some ugly, ugly threads.

I don't think they banned them...they posted there same as here about their dog dying. How one has time/inclination to do that right after it happens...is beyond me...

Over there the dog suposedly died at 3:45am and they posted about it at 3:50!!

They posted ANOTHER new message on the same topic in Spiritual Circle. I have joined ALL THREE of their posts regarding their dogs death into ONE post. Because of the location of the posts I feel uncomfortable again publicly telling this person to HIT REPLY not new post...

It's getting very aggravating and if they are not responding to PM's/Emails and only sometimes to posts in thread...*oy!*

I got a response to my email, finally, last night.  It was an odd response, to say the least....given that I emailed to tell them to cut down on the religious talk because it's making members uncomfortable, and told them not to ask for money.....the response consisted entirely of a little animated graphic saying "thank you".  No acknowledgment whatsoever of what I'd said.  

Now they're basically asking for a free dog.  Can we think of a nice way to tell them that if they need to pray for their vet bills to be paid, clearly getting another dog isn't the most responsible thing to do?

 I think they need to understand how this forum works...or we need to edit them asking for money/dogs/whatever so we can suspend them. I am tired of it...grumpy perhaps...but I see no need to baby this person.

What's their edit count? They asked for money AGAIN in that recent one...

see AR...they have solicited a member OFF LIST for money...that is really not okay, and is IMO worthy of a ban. Members have to be able to feel that they won't be approached for money here esp off forum.

No, agreed.  Just saw that...it was 2 edits, as far as I can find, but emailing members asking for money is just beyond uncool.   

The fact that they couldn't pay for vet bills and now want to get another puppy is making my trigger finger itch.

Not to mention emailing for money that's horrible.  I agree, a ban.

In regards to dogforums, I don't understand, I thought she said they'd banned him?  Maybe she meant suspended?  Or that they were talking about banning?  Heck, maybe she was lying, and didn't expect me to actually know about stuff.  She's the one that said "I even  moderate a dog board" (speaking about something dog related) and i said "Oh, me too! Which one are you on?" she could have just been talking BS.

Anyway, good find Gina.

I agree this person should go.
