Your post in the "I am so embarrassed" thread has been edited.  Regardless of your personal views on the matter, it is simply never acceptable to mock other members here in the way that you did.  Yes, many people believed this story and posted messages of sympathy.  Many others had doubts but chose to post kindly anyway, preferring to believe the best in people.  That, certainly, is a trait to be proud of in oneself and others, not ridiculed and demeaned.  Those that did believe are feeling hurt and betrayed enough, and perhaps a little naive.  I am quite sure they do not need any assistance from you or anybody else to feel more so in that regard.

I trust you will choose your words more carefully in future.
