Changing sigs?

The nail one? I am sure that is a dig at Anne's "when all you have is a hammer" sig she had. Ixas JUST came back after being suspended, and here she is now again...SSDD.....IMO she should be sent on vacation again...

And, by the way, that sig note needs to be stickied.  I tried to unlock the thread to bump it up, but couldn't.  Everytime someone posts in that section it gets pushed down.

Oh and here come my claws out.....this is a person who has owned her FIRST dog since January???  And she knows all this stuff so much better than any of the rest of us?  Retracting claws now....going to lap up my saucer of milk.....

LOL. I reposted Kate's note as an Announcement in Welcome...IMO it should go in General Chat as well so everyone will see it, but she can decide that. We need to adopt a 3 warning then suspension rule on this sig thing. They could be changing them hourly JUST to give Kate more work otherwise.

In the "Options" tab when making a post you can make something sticky...or an Announcement. Announcements will automatically NOT accept replies and get put into a separate box up top. Sticky's you have to decide whether you allow replies or not...and how long to sticky them. Now be judicious with the sticky's because they are not undoable right now. Kate said she spoke with Sean about it but still...it doesn't work.

You cannot sticky a post with replies OR one that wasn't made one when it was posted...which is ANNOYING. They need to fix that as well.

I totally agree with you that there needs to be a three strike rule.

Thanks for the info on the stickies.  If you select a time, say two weeks, will it go away after that?  So we can be careful and use time limits on stuff that doesn't need to stay forever?

Ummm, aren't they PAYING for this?  dog.com I mean?  And when you pay for something, isn't it supposed to be right, or get made right within a certain amount of time?  They need a lemon law for forums.....

Now the sig is larger, and birght pink..so apparently she IS trying to get suspended again...when can we oblige her?

OK, this is direct response to emailing her about her stupid post being put back.  Damn it.  And Kate not here to do a danged thing about it.  Did I mention espencer has the alpha roll nonsense back again.

Kate will be here when she can...til then we'll just need to document things as that's all we can do.

Oh, I know that she will.  Again, I'm thinking the migraine because I know how bad my sis is when she gets them.  But, I also think that Ixas has also noticed Kate not around and is taking advantage of it.  Little witch.
