Hold down the fort...

    Hold down the fort...

I'm just heading out to agility class, I'll be back in a few hours.

Aye Aye, skipper.  Will do my best.  We're having a blizzard so my connection isn't real stable, but will try.  Went into town to get milk before it gets any worse and the wind was trying it's best to blow me into a ditch.......

I was just checking in and there is that complaint by Anne.... I have *no* idea how to deal with it. I'm assuming if it's over my head just to let someone who knows what their doing deal with it? I have dog-park duty and rally, but will be back about 8:30 and can snoop around :) I hope agility was fun, Kate!

    yep... that's it exactly!

I'm simply deleting any and all posts I see with inappropriate sigs...and that's what I'm putting as the reason for deletion.  I past caring WHO'S post it is....if it's inappropriate the whole post goes.  That's what Kate said we'd do and I think we need to follow through.......just like telling a kid over and over you'll break his fingers if he sticks them on the stove again....if you DON'T the threat eventually means nothing.  And nope, I've never broken fingers, but I've also not used that threat!

Glenda, don't delete the posts, just let me know about the sig and I will delete that.  I need to go through and do them in the morning, I came home from agility and went pretty much straight to bed...had a migraine forming.  I think I've beaten it off now but I need to sleep.  I'll deal with everything when I wake up.

    • Gold Top Dog

Oppps.  If you need me to apologize, I will.  I truly thot the WHOLE post was to go.

Lost has changed his sig make to the alpha roll one, and Ixas still is using her "calm assertive" one.

Rest, get rid of the migraine and rest assured that I'll be careful with the trigger finger for the balance of the night.

I moved LC's rainbow bridge post BACK to rainbow bridge. Kate...can you restore posts? I don't know if they can be moved BACK if they were part of a thread

    • Gold Top Dog

Thanks for putting that one back, Gina.  It's a nice post and I hated to delete it but thot that were were SUPPOSED to.

I didn't know we could do that, or I would have cleaned up after myself.

    • Gold Top Dog

One of us managed to move the Ixas post back.  I'm not sure which one of us did it but I tried as well.

    • Gold Top Dog

I didn't do it originally...but I did notice that when it was put back it posted as a new separate thread? I joined it back with the other post after some playing around with the Mod features. So it's all one piece now and Ixas will probably think she's going nuts. I vote we say NOTHING to her about it LOL.

Couple of problems with that approach.  First, when we delete a member is sent a message as to why and who.  And, she has also filed an abuse report.  Now, in my mind, given that she was PM'd and told who and why, THAT is an abuse of the abuse report and should be dealt with, but that's for Admin to decide.  She KNEW where her post went and why, so this little miss innocent crap is designed just to either cause trouble or tick us off more.

    • Gold Top Dog

well if you emailed/Pm'd her when you removed the post, I would say do the same again...and let her know there was a misunderstanding and the post has been restored. No harm done.

If the abuse report was filed after you pm'd that could be abuse of the report feature yes...but it could also be she didn't read your PM on purpose or innocently and just saw her post was gone.

She does need to be told AT MINIMUM that administrative questions like "where's my post' are NOT proper use of the report feature...that is what a PM is for.

    • Gold Top Dog

I didn't actually PM her, the system does that automatically when we delete a post.  Or so it says.

I'm dreading it, but I will go ahead and send her another PM.  And yes, she filed her abuse report not only after the PM was sent, but after her post was restored.
