LOL...Ixas girl's message

DPU and LC won't get a chance - the only one who caught it was Bevolasvegas before I deleted the thread.  Since it's policy NOT to share the status of a member with anyone but that member, I wasn't going to leave a thread up which would have turned into a free-for-all in which we couldn't defend ourselves without breaking policy.

I waited several hours after PMing her....think I stayed up until 1 in the morning, and I'd sent her the PM just after 8.  There were also many ways she could have gotten in touch without making a duplicate account....I think she thought if she had been suspended, she wanted people to know about it.  

In any case, I've now sent her an email, deleted the thread and I will remove her duplicate account.   

Don't forget though that others will see the post in their notifications, just as I did, so there may still be fallout.  This is NOT a good day for me to need to be gone, but, I'll be around until close to noon.  And I'm sure the two of you can handle whatever happens.

If I remember correctly she put it in "Welcome & Announcements"....I'm hoping not many people have subscribed to that for notifications.  There will still be fallout, she'll tell all her friends that she's been suspended...but that was going to happen anyway, and we were damned if we did and damned if we didn't.   

I'm thinking it was the technical one?

You're right, people will know and there will be fallout, but, her supporters will just need to be dealt with.  We can't allow that kind of toxicity on the forum to go unchecked.
