I'm tempted...

To call Ixas bluff, and everyone else's.

I am seriously debating, in my head, the merits/downsides of starting a thread to hash ALL of this out. Inviting people to share everything they like and dislike about the forum and about the way it is run. It would expose certain people for who they are and deflate the argument that we aren't willing to listen or open to criticism. I will just tell people not to make it personal against other members, but they can make it personal against me if they want to. We can then just move forwards.

Thoughts?

what would that entail? You telling all about Ixas making those rules? cuting and pasting her Abuse reports? LOL...posting FIC's message to you?

BTW....if I were you I'd definitely be talking with Jaime so she can be on hand to deal out the history with Ixas...

No, I wouldn't make anything public. I just want to make it clear that we're open to criticism if it's polite and constructive.

BTW, I posted this when I had just read something and I was mad...so it's unlikely to happen LOL.

I did write Ixas a long note this morning and cc'd Jaime and Jill.

If you want my honest opinion?

Ixas is now nothing more than a troll,..and the same for FIC. They have a "private area" of their new forum and no doubt this is the topic of discussion there. IMO we're being made fools of and BOTH should be banned as trolls.

They have zero interest in remaining here as contributing members. Especially Ixas....she has done PLENTY of disrespecting of this forum to warrant banning.

We do NOT have to entertain their ego trips or crap, Kate...and I wish Jaime and the other Admin could see how damaging things like this are to the forum atmosphere, and how many members it will cost us. It will not stop...no matter how many "open discussions" you have with them. One's a kook and the other is a bitter woman scorned.

I dunno. I seem to remember being thrown under the bus and it was NOT a fun place to be. I'd sure hate to open things up to that kind of hateful mudslinging again. And, it becomes a pack mentality and they FEED off one another and really go for the throat as a group. I'd love to have a place that they can send comments and it not become a feeding frenzy.
