Personally, I could care less. The bally things don't even work for me...and capital letters/proper nouns...the proper use of "s"?? yeah...that's important. I love Janet but sometimes...a bit too ticky tack, bit too much of an armchair mod.

Honestly, I don't think it matters much.....not to mention that we have all just been through this massive change with regards to software, members are understandably upset that there are still things that don't work the way they are supposed to....I'm not sure that saying "we interrupt your regular and (mostly) fun forum experience in order to give you all a lesson on basic grammar" would go down very well...however it was worded.

Not to mention that we do have members here for whom English is not their first or most comfortable language.

Frankly, I have very mixed emotions on the tags. They could be a helpful tool but then some of the idiots decide to have fun with them......I'd just as soon see them go away altogether, but if we're gonna have them, lets not be so darned intense about them.

Yes, it is...and I am grouchy and stressed out so I will make this simple:

Despite the bugs I like the new software. I like the friends lists and the blogs and the photo galleries and all the other new and nifty features we have. It's harder modding on this new software because there are more puppy mills, we have blogs to edit and navigating to problem threads is a little trickier if you don't remember where they were. The LAST thing I want is to have to police the tags not only for blatant abuse, but for dog breeds and incorrect use of an "S". I only have so many hours in the day and I spend enough of them here already.

Grouch over, we now return to your regularly scheduled light-hearted and funny Kate.

I'm not overly thrilled with the new software, but I don't have a lot of time to spend on it. And, I'm old and resist change.

I don't give a rats *** what they tag stuff as long as it isn't vulgar or out of line. If Janet wants to ***, let her take it to Jill, if she's still here, or Jaime.

yeah, she is getting a bit uppity....and remembering another thread, nope, I don't mean that in a nice way. Give it a rest already.....
