I like yours!! (the antoine one)

    And I like erl's too.

And I always like Shelleys (jjsmom)

Someone had one that said I think animal testing is a  bad idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.  I cant remember who it was but that siggy always made me smile.  Another one I cant remember who it belongs to but its a cracker is a Albert Einstein one.... about science and religion (someone help me here!!)

Current favourite is Benedicts.... so apt what with the HP climate and Whatnot.
yet, sadly, accidental rudeness occurs alarmingly often. Best to say nothing at all, my dear man - Albus Dumbledore to Vernon Dursley, JK Rowling.

There are more but I'd end up being here all night!

I like Glenda's "A house without fur is not a home" and the one in Anne's about force and resistance.

There are so many I like to read and think about!
But one of my faves is Shelly's/jjsmom's Ayn Rand quote. Ayn Rand is one of those authors who really makes you think.

I never saw a wild thing
    sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself.
    - D. H. Lawrence

    [:D] Thanks Chuffy!

I like the DH Lawrence quote on many levels. Believe it or not, I first heard it in "G.I. Jane." Viggo Mortensen plays the master cpo in charge of bud/S training (SEAL training). And he welcomes his cadets into the program with this quote. And the quote is true. How stoic are our dogs? Is it part of what makes them noble?
    Sorry to go OT.

Xerxes: "The only person you should ever strive to get even with is someone that has helped you- unknown."

LOL, Ron, GI Jane .. never know when you'll find a jewel! It reminds me of Chinese poetry, especially early Zen (or Ch'an as it was called in Chinese).

I can't remember who has it as their signature quote but "be the person your dog thinks you are" is definitely my favorite .... if everyone in the world did this, what a wonderful place this world would be

    Thanks Ixas_girl!!!!

Coincidentially, yours os one of my favorite too! "You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed." (I used it as my myspace headline after I saw it! [:D;)

I also love the one that says, "Maybe you've been looking for love in all the wrong places. A dog will treat you better than anyone you'll meet at happy hour. Trust me. I've been to happy hour." I love that! I can't remember whose it is though!!!!!!

Thanks, Annie! I'm glad people like it, I re-read it at a time when it seemed especially appropriate and had to use it LOL.

I love yours, too. For some reason when I read it I get this mental image of Grady and Aspen holding pencils and thinking really hard LMAO.
    • Gold Top Dog
~LMAO~  I can see Grady scratching his head & trying to look @ Aspen's paper.  Aspen would be covering his paper.  Aspen's the brains in my pack. ~LOL~  OMG!  I'll be giggling about that visual all day.  Thanks Kate! ~LOL~
