I am assuming I am a  "troll" Well actually I have been a member looking on for a long time now with Mark....I had my own name but most of the time he was telling me things about threads and I put in my 2 cents that way...I recently had more time on my hands and was able to contribute more.....I have NEVER personally attacked anyone...in any thread or by pm....I have close friends from the board...I have a few I talk to "sometimes"...Are there a few of you I don't agree with at all?? YUP Are there a few I would never even speak to in person...YUP Would I ever say anything to you about this?? NOPE......Let me just say...and this is my opinion ( MINE NOT A BUNCH OF PEOPLE) .....The OP was upset about her sig being taken out...She thought she was the only 1...She wasn't...I was asked too..and I didn't freak out or take it personally...Do I not agree with it?? Yup...but it's not my board....We are allowed to use this board for free....We may not like the rules but that's not up to us I know of 1 mod who is actually trying to make things a lil better around here.. The OP then decided to attack people from the forum and blame them for her leaving...True some people posted back some not nice things...myself included but when people put out a hateful blown out of proportion attack on people on the board.Others are going to switch to defense mode...It's what friends do in real life and on the internet..Is there or should there be a his side /her side? No....We are adults....If you can't handle yourself and fight your own battles it's really sad....I have another case in mind but again being who I am I don't call anyone out or tattle to the mods..or call out 1 of them for something not cool....If the OP was actually really attacked by a person or a group of people wouldn't the moderators have handled it??? Think about that seriously because it just simply didn't happen....As a matter of fact if you read what she wrote...she never herself said anyone "attacked her" she said someone lied to her....well if it's true so what??? It's the internet....sign off...go read a book...play with the dogs and get over it....oh and btw she didn't have to mention names she did that already in a pervious post...

And Spiritdogs, I wish you would change your delivery and leave out the negatives and the judging of respected fellow members as 'trolls'. We are all contributors in our own way.

First off, why is Spritidogs post negative and not some others? Second the word "troll" was used as in "Jean referred to", and finally by coming here, and posting this:

  If I am following things, then there are 5 people involved in this, including Jeano, and they are the ones that should be talking and working things out.  They just might all agree and go their separate ways with no hard feelings.  To all others, IMO you are not involved.

I,  too, feel that there were a lot of unnecessary rude comments.  Jean - i shall miss your posts and hope that you consider returning in the near future. 

I must say that I rarely had any correspondence, or red ink, from the mods before the current crop of what Jean refers to as "trolls" arrived.

 
 
Anne do clarify....you consider the new mods trolls...or you consider them under the influence of trolls...or you conider the trolls responsible for your posts red ink in some way?

Wow, Honestly after reading the blog, I could care less how jeano feels! First off she has no reason to be hurt because some people have developed friendships. It's not highschoolish, it's life-GET OVER IT! I honestly think it's comical that anyone would be suprised she got some "rude" remarks when she writes a nasty blog (which she has the right to do) and POST IT ON A PUBLIC FORUM FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE FRIENDS of this person are also memebers. I know this has already been said, but I'm just seeing this and am apalled! Bye and don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Hmmm...I've just read this thread from start to finish...I was not aware any of this was going on before this thread was posted.  But, I have 2 opinions based on what I have read.
 
1. Don't let yourself become emotionally affected by people who you don't know from a hole in the wall on an internet forum.  I can certainly see how Jeano could have been annoyed and frustrated, but please don't let it get to the point where it dictates what you do or don't do (i.e. leaving the forum), you are giving these people power.  I hope you don't leave Jeano.
 
2. Forming cliques on an internet forum, using secret codes and collectively bullying and mocking others behind their backs is no different than forming cliques, using secret codes and bullying and mocking others in HIGH SCHOOL.

Just my [sm=2cents.gif] but when you post something on a public internet forum you make it the business of everyone who reads it.  If you truly feel that something is the business of only certain people, then have the good sense to keep it to PM and e-mail and off the forum.

While I have often questioned the intent behind “goodbye” threads, I found this goodbye thread very transparent. I find it appalling that someone, who I had respected up until this thread, would stoop so low. While I may not get along with every member here, I would NEVER, EVER, blatantly throw someone under the bus like that. I have lost all respect for you Jeano. I never, in a million years, thought that you would stoop as low as to behave in the “high schoolish” manner that you so despise.

I have lost alot of respect for a few members on this thread.  Thats it people, kick her while she's down.  High School prepares us for real life, and if you choose to use the skills you learned in High School to hurt others, so be it.  Thank God I don't care what those kind of people think of me.  

I don't know Jeano and I didn't know who the "clique" was she was referring to (and this being teh intarweb, I wasn't even sure there WAS a clique, and not just someone feeling persecuted).
 
Then the clique pounced on this thread.  Way to turn this from one person looking overreactive into a bunch of yobbish posts that seem to validate her accusations.
 
disclaimer:  Doubt the clique had anything to do with what started this (the PMs for sig links) since I got the PM too, and I'm pretty sure none of the cool kid cliques give a rats patoot about me.  Well maybe they will now.  ohnoes! []

Sigh.  What a nasty, hateful bunch we can be. 
 
If you read Jean's blog and knew exactly who she was talking about, I guess that the shoe fit.
 
Jean was classy enough not to name names or name the forum.  Gosh, I remember ONE "member" who scalded the forum by name and skewered members by NAME in his blog after he got booted.......it wasn't pretty.
