Until these people (who are even attacking me on this thread!) joined this board I had no problems. I don't like being lied about, stabbed in the back, lied, to, gee, the list goes on.

This is why I'm leaving. I could name names but what's the point? Watch your backs folks.

I do have a right to tell my story. This could happen to any one of you.

I've been harassed, lied to, singled out and all I have EVER done is tell the truth and help a bunch of people with their dogs.

yeah good point... i think i'm gonna go outside and plant some crepe myrtles... my yard needs landscaping.. tired of it looking like a cow pasture.. complete with miniature black and white cows (bulldogs hiding in tall grass)

i understand how you feel because i went through the same ordeal in two different forums. one of them the ADMIN was actually deleting my posts, and the content of the posts had to do with same stuff i talk about here... genetic stuff, fun stuff, questions.... i signed in one day to find fifty PMs and it was all notifications that threads had been deleted.... and they were still coming in.... so i told her to just delete my account. i was done with it.

personally, i cant remember much of my relations with you but i dont think any of it was bad. you've always had a good bit of logic behind your comments, even if folks dont agree... i'm sure i have disagreed a time or two with you, but that wasnt the worst thing thats happened to me here lol

I guess what has me scratching my head over all the drama (not just this, but other things that have happened that I also don't really get) is that it doesn't have anything to do with dogs.  Lets all go pat our dogs on their heads (I will pat someone else's dog) and remember why we're here.  At the end of the day, we all love dogs, so we all have at least one thing in common.

now you're talkin..... outside of dogs, do we really need to be that much involved in others personal affairs?
its ok to disagree with how someone cares for their dog, but unless they are all out abusing or neglecting it and/or bragging about it... then there is no call to treat them like dirt. but we all have different views on what constitutes as abuse to animals.... letting it stay outside all day is abuse to some people... keeping it in a crate while you're at work is abuse to others... its just a disagreement between friends and no one is getting hurt, so why disagree at all?
i keep hearing that petting an animal reduces stress...... lets see if it works, then come back later and tackle this.

It's sad that there might be 30 people watching the drama in NDR and 0 in health where someone is looking for advice or just good thoughts for their ill dog [] This place used to be a goldmine of information. Now it's rare that a post will get more than a few responses, unless one member decides they have to prove another wrong - then it will go on for 5 pages, with no help to the OP []

i mean come on... when the internet starts mucking up your personal life its time to put your hands firmly on the desk and push yourself AWAY from the computer....
i dont remember what or when or why but something happened in here that REALLY ticked me off and when my husband got home i was a horrid mood and was not talking very nicely to him.... when i realised what i was doing i was mortified and could appollogise to him enough.... he doesnt get it, why we do these forum things, all he ever sees when he peeks over my shoulder is drama drama drama.. he assumes these forums and dog lists must all be women because of the shrapnel flying around lol

i agree but a lot of times its just going to happen, every forum has these down times....i'm a member of four or five non dog related forums and every so often people just get brutal.. i think its just a sign of spending too much time there... so its time to back off for a while.

You do have a right to share your story. Please also share how your blog solicits funds for the care of your personal dogs, which is/was against the "old" rules - new signature link rule to the blog nonwithstanding.

I'm still sorry you felt singled out, which I still don't quite understand, since the PM, which has been sent to 50+ members before you, and I'm sure will be sent to numerous afterwards, reads like this:

You said it "mucking up your personal life".  And thats what it is personal.  So keep it personal and keep it to yourself until, like you, get over it.  I like the fact that the forum did change by respecting and not judging a personal tragedy experience.  I remember being bashed because my parrot jumped off the cage and a foster dog went after it and killed it.  Today, members don't do that.
