I am sorry, I am no clean freak, so I may not get to say this, but good God!!!  Look at that house!  The carpet.... it's ((stutters)).... it's.... it's just.... ((guffaw)) I had to share!! I may be a bad person, but I couldn't NOT say something!

For her to show photos of it means she doesn't see it as a problem, ((shakes head)) wowzers.

I didn't need to click the link to know who you meant - I've noted this before she even got Sandy and was horrified

    not much else to say

    • Gold Top Dog

HAH!!! I love that you knew exactly what I was talking about and hadn't clicked the link.  I noticed in the "What is idog keeping you from doing right now" thread that she should be cleaning the livingroom.  Surprise  Honey, I think idog has kept you from cleaning for at least a few years, by the looks of that house, maybe since the 60's.

And BTW - Sandy *IS* fat.  (I know I'm in good company with not liking overweight animals :)

    That's all.

Are you sure you don't want to hang out w/Tiffy?  I got a PM from her the other day about the exact same thing, and I told her I didn't see the ashtray full of butts.  Now that oranges has found out her dog has cardio, I asked Tiffy is she can tread kindly.

You have received a new Private Message from tiffy

    Subject: Oh the horror...
have you looked in the photo section? Oranges81 posted some pics of her moms baby corgi and the shots of her living room are horrendous! Cigarette butts in an ashtray, with ash everywhere and a freaking dog biscuit like 2" away. Don't get me started on the couches. Am I being petty? I'm definitely no clean freak, but this is foul.

    • Gold Top Dog

Yeah -- I'm cool on the hang time with Tiffy.  She said something in a post a few days ago that made me shake my head in wonder and annoyance.  She's an obnoxious chick!!  ... I just happen to agree with her here. LOL  Thanks for asking her to tone it down.

I remember a post that "Kitty" **shuders** put up about how Sandy is NOT fat, it's just her breed and I wanted to squish her head.

I think I may need a drink my bitch-ness is working overtime today!  It's been a rough week. ... heck, it's been a rough year so far.  I know I'm not alone in that though.  I hope for all our sakes (and the good of iDog) that things get better soon! :)

She's the snippy police - she comes in w/some snappy little comments and considering the cardio diagnosis, I felt she ought to think twice.

Meanwhile, I'm sorry that your accident injuries are still impacting you on a daily basis.  That sucks.  As do work worries.  How's the dogs and the pups?  I need to go visit your site today to ge caught up.

    • Gold Top Dog

She's really obnoxious -- I'm not sure who died and left her Queen Bitch, but geesh!

Actually my injuries are MUCH better!! I went to Urgent Care 2 weeks ago, after it finally got so bad I couldn't move, sleep..... go to the bathroom, it had gotten bad.  See, a month after the accident, and seeing the Chiropractor I was doing REALLY well, then slowly I started having more bad days than good ones, and then a terrible day mixed amoung bad ones, and finally just terrible day after terrible day.  That's why they did the MRI.  My doctor, upon getting a decent MRI back, said stop the Chiro for a month.  Often times its the Chiro's MO to do way too much work and it causes more problems than fixes after a certain amount of time.  It's been 2.5 weeks since I last saw the Chiro and I'm doing SO much better.  It sucks that they can do so much helping (it was awesome for the first month after the accident) but they didn't decrease the visits when I was doing better, and it slowly just aggravated my back/neck worse and worse.  I'm not 100% but, I'm 100% better than I was when I went in to Urgent Care! :)  The job search, OTOH, is awful.  But, I know I'm not special or unique on that front! Hope it's been better for you two!

Dogs and pups are great :)  I'm hoping to get up to Vancouver Island this weekend to grade Logan's last litter, I'm taking a pup back and co-owning it with Leo's people.  They want a girl, as Leo has become his dad's dog.... mommy is feeling left out :)  I think they'll be a good two-dog family.  I hope we have a couple of nice girls to pick from.

     How's B and G, ladies?

(PS I just got my dog.com order (like 20 min ago) and I opened the box and gave Logan his new toy and Nik her's.  They are both on the sofa, cuddling with them.  I got Logan a "flappy" floating toy and Nik a new good cuz.... apparently it's a success!  Logan's not normally into toys.)

    • Gold Top Dog

OH -- and I saw on FB that Kim got a new profile photo of a Vizsla and a Weim.... so, I asked "Wow! Did you get a Weim?" she responded "Yeah." ... and went on to say that he'll only wade in water, but that Rueben likes water.  I asked who the breeder is... we'll see if I get a reply. I'm gonna unfriend her shortly, I don't want any of my Weim friends to think I had anything to do with her/that situation.  What a flippin' train wreck. Those poor babies!!!  What's really sad is she's already procreated....

If it's the Weim I think, it's her friend who allegedly was having a tough time, was living in a hotel.  Kimberly said she agreed to keep the pup while she got settled, then agreed to let the friend live w/her and JJ and Samantha.  She said one of the conditions was that the Weim puppy has to go to Obedience classes with Kim and her other puppy.  I know they're in classes now.  She made vague reference that if her friend can't get herself straight, that she would keep the puppy...

We shall see... if we care to watch.

Yes, tiffy is launching in on Xebby right now.  I have no idea why she thinks we're BFFs so she can talk about people.

Glad to hear the pups are well.  OOOOOh, yer gonna have a girl baby!  Pictures are a must.

Meanwhile, every order I get from dog.com arrives bashed up.  Only one strip of tape across the bottom of the box, which means when they throw things around, the box collapses in on itself and it's a wonder I haven't lost things out the side.  If I'd had smaller contents, I would have.

A different day.... a different story (sent via FB):

Kimberly Evans August 2 at 6:03pm
JJ brought Anubis home. Someone he works with had an opps litter. I couldnt believe JJ actually brought a dog home. I didnt know anything about it until I woke up one morning and there Anubis was. He's really his dog but OMG I am so in love with him.

((sighs)) I knew she was lyin', didn't want to admit they got another dog. How long do you think he and Rueben last?  It makes me ill.

Oddly, I've had fine deliveries until today!  I thought the same thing, that if I'd had smaller contents I'd have lost some things.  Lots of packing peanuts though and they all stayed in, hmmm! I didn't order anything fragile it all arrived safely, though I think UPS was definitely rough on it!!

Same dog, totally different story.  Total liar.  "She just woke up one morning"?!  Bullhockey.  She told me the puppy was her friend's and had been coming over for play dates, so when stuff hit the fan w/her bf and she needed a place for the dog, Kim agreed to take care of him, then later agreed to let her live w/them thru the summer.

Ask her when she got the dog.  The conversation she gave me is below.  She says she offered to let her friend stay with her until August when Samantha goes back to school.  It's August, and she's claiming the dog as hers now.  She's SUCH A GIGANTIC LIAR!

6/20/10 11:33pm, in response to me asking about his name:

    kle1986

Actually my friend has a thing with gods and goddesses. I personally hate the name especially the meaning to this one. But he's not mine so I have to call him that. Well I call him Newbie. Besides what can I say? I have a dog named Kujo.

She could have him in the hotel but she works 10-12 hours 5-6 days a week so she didnt think that would be fair. He was coming here a couple times a week to play with Rueben anyways so he's used to being here.

    kle1986
Long story short- She left her bf but he wouldnt move out. Said she could call the police but they would have to kill him to get him out. So when I said I could take Anubis until she found a place(SOON!!) she moved out herself.

    kle1986
She wasnt working that schedule when she got him. Otherwise she would have never gotten him because like you said it's not the life a dog should live. She is switching to a different schedule and hopefully finds a place soon!

She lost her 7 year old dog to seizures a year ago and was finally in a place where she thought it would be ok for her to get another dog. Then when her and the bf got a place together he started showing his true colors and she isnt the kind that will be treated like dirt so she left him. And then her work changed schedules so life isnt going that great for her for now.

I told her I would treat Anubis just like my own and that meant if he's still here next month she will have to take him to obedience classes with me and Rueben.

Final message in the string, sent to me 6/21/10 at 4:53pm:

    kle1986

Well the housing didnt work out but she got a car so she will be staying with us since she can drive to work now on her own. She was staying close to her work and riding with a co-worker. So Rueben gets a playmate and I have an exercise partner! Dont know how long this will work out since my friend and I have lived together before and it just didnt work! We could not get along! Here's to hoping she finds a place soon so we can stay friends. Lol.

Oh, I had no packing peanuts.  Just the box for the nail grinder, three bully sticks wrapped in a plastic shopping bag, and the other rawhide bones.  Plus some samples of cat treats - I don't even have a cat- and samples of something else.  And some bag to donate my cell phone, and some really weird insert about some kind of sales thing that was totally unrelated to dogs.  Think something along the lines of a new-school advertising campaign for something the likes of Danbury Mint plates.  Def wasn't the plates, but equally non-dog-related.

You know, the only way the two stories could work out, is if you say, yes, his co-worker had an oops litter.  (Maybe this friend, maybe someone else.)  Maybe this friend took the dog, then ran through this scenario she described to me.  Then maybe her vague use of "one morning he was just there" is a VERY wide window to say "and we just decided since he's here, we're keeping him".

She's still a liar.  She knows "JJ just brought it home and I knew nothing about it" is a complete lie.  Especially since she says she hates the name - ask her how he came to be named Anubis....

whew have I missed a bunch (happily I might add)

So Kle has a weim, vizsla, and a.nother?  What is the new one - not that it really matters

I was just heading in to say that Kitty/Amber/whomever (who the hell calls them self that?) says she might get another puppy earlier than expected - this from the woman that can't test her CM dog and lives in a poophole?

Totally on the fly so briefly - glad you are doing better Lani

my dog.com packages come in great shape (packed form PA so a lot closer for me) - could really do without the cat treats as the 'nose' thinks they smell nummy (he can't have them due to allergies)

Is B the only dog that destroys all his toys LOL His flappy lost some flaps instantly and now is sequestered for swimming trips

B is fine - he decided to fly through the air last night - a dizzying height - that nearly made me toss my cookies.  He used to do this pre-tplo and it freaked me out but after and while we are essentially waiting for the other knee to blow it nearly killed me LOL  He seems no worse for wear

Job search= eh.  Interview Thursday although not sure exactly why they have asked me in - its a public health media/communications job - I've got the PH but not the media quals so we'll see

     OK must run ......................
