I approved a few earlier (or was that yesterday?) that I thought were somewhat suspect - ie, dogcratestore@ somegenericemail account  - but I'll let him hang himself with spam.  I tend to approve the ones who don't have their own domain name - like there's one right now ivan@greatdogsupplies or something, so I hesitated, but will let this one hang himself, too.  These people are not reading forum rules.  Time to repost to the top?

Sweet! She's pretty much accusing me of alerting FRED HASSEN about her thread about banning ecollars.  Really, really?!?!  That guy is soooo above her, I was surprised to see him posting, but so be it.  He VERY VERY rarely jumps on any boards to discuss anything - like any great trainer, he's waaaayyy too busy putting his hands on REAL dogs in REAL life, as opposed to giving advice and chastising people when that advice doesn't work "you must not be doing it right".  Really, not everything is click-treat.... unless all you want is an old Aussie to weave btwn your legs.  Dumb.

how does she propose people hunt with dogs long distance?  I mean some collars are up to 2 mile range now? I know I've said this before but for God's sake I wish I could have brought young Bugs in for some training - he'd make her scream and want to zap him LOL

Heck I'd like to see her train him now to go out for a retrieve around geese in a wide open area using her click treat methods - she's just clueless and irritating

 Paige, I know you're annoyed... and trust me I know how that is.  But, like you courtously did for me, when I was seeing red in the Abortion topic, I think you need to step back.  I wanted to post an OFF TOPIC warning on the thread, but, I dont' want to undermine you and I have a feeling that's how Anne would take that, because she's Anne. And an idiot. 

I know Anne is an idiot... you know I'm a proponent of an ecollar, but I think it's getting a little tit-for-tat in there.  How do you want to handle that? You can post a warning, Karen or I can... or we can ignore it? Lock the thread again?  What do you think would be the best way to handle it now?

Personally, I'm ignoring it from here.  There isn't anything more to be said from me.  It will complete it's course shortly, and then she will post yet another thread on the topic... and another thread with another link "from her friends on Facebook"... and another.

Lani, there needs to be a better solution to her chronic posting of threads to incite issues, walking way, then initiating the tit-for-tat herself if someone is going to get in "trouble" for it.  There really can't be a one-sided tit-for-tat.... and she does this with me, with espencer, with Agile, with anyone and everyone.  It's nothing new and it's been set loose for a long time.  Notice the common denominator is her.

 That's fair.... but, what can we do?  What would you suggest we do?  I'm all ears and will put on my thinking cap.  Maybe Admin will have a suggestion?

That's fair.... but, what can we do?  What would you suggest we do? 

 If it's against the rules, then we should act.  I guess I missed where it was the same thing.  Normally what we'd do is just combine the threads, but I guess we could get her on the technicality of it.  Kind of like getting Gotti for tax evasion, but .....?

Well, I think your viewpoint to treat everyone fairly is important.  Next time it happens, I'll collect them and bring it to our collective attention for a group decision rather than that one AR I put on that thread last time.  Easier to see them all together and see what's going on w/all at once.  I did offer to join her threads, but she ignored me.  She knows she's toeing the line and getting away with it.  Anyway, it will be good to gather it altogether to see and decide.  You know me, I don't like to go rogue.  I prefer a group consensus on things like this.  (Although our group consensus is still that she's annoying. lol)

 Next time, definitely join the threads.  I'm of the mind that if it happens again, we join the threads and let her know that's not acceptable. (whoever sees she's doing this post in here with the links so that we can all be on the same page) ... and then warn her, if it happens again it will be considered an edit.  She's been warned, it's a form of spam. Would that work??  Better idea?

I'm grouchy. My back is killing me, it's a mofo to get old, isn't it? I have Audi to dog sit for 2 weeks starting Saturday.... it will be fun, but a lot.  5 month old puppy will be awesome and awful at the same time!  Gramma's gonna put the hammer down. I'm sure Dad and Aunty will, too. LOL

And yes I will try to keep up with Ann's shenanigans too - I will admit to avoiding her posts because they inflame me - I am practicing extreme self control to not post in the e-collar discussion - I've posted in those threads so many times I know it won't matter but I still have the urge.
