What is difficult is that we don't allow others to link to their blog - we tell them to write it here.  I do not like to be preferential.

Of course not.  But I haven't looked at Gina's blog.  The only reason I've ever edited someone from linking their blog is if there's advertising of any kind over on their site.  Otherwise, I've generally left it alone.  I mean, shoot, we have a whole blogging section here that can be completely unrelated to dogs, according to TPTB... so.

Now, if she had active links in her siggie, that should be edited, but starting a thread that links to a blog that doesn't have any adverts or sources for profit?  Lani - what's the breakdown on this??

OREBACLUBS has requested an id.  I googled, they're Old Red English Bulldog Association, and they maintain their own registry.  http://members5.boardhost.com/OldRedBulldog/  http://www.orebaregistry.com/

I'm inclined to say we can approve, but keep an eye out.

Lani - any thoughts on Gina's blog?

I've done the same, no advertising it stays.  AS LONG as they aren't joining just to pimp their blog or spamming the forum with it.... but, both of those are abuse of the forum, so I'm sure it goes without saying.

AH HA!  Thanks for grabbing that thread, Lani.  Did they get a PM warning?
    • Gold Top Dog

Nope.... and if they do it twice more, they get the boot.

watch !dogbreeds.... new member I've approved, but expect could get themselves into trouble... we shall see.

EDIT - active link in this one's profile.  I've sent the warning and updated the NL.  Hooray.  I have a bad feeling about this one and their English skills...

OK, I updated the NL, assuming the warning was sent yesterday.  Thanks for managing that thread - I logged in last night and went "whoa!"

thanks for doing that - I am struggling to keep up with a bunch of stuff and had a HUGE asthma attack last night that has left me feeling yuck today.

I was fairly heavy handed but wasn't up to dealing with the minutia of an asinine debate so just hacked a way LOL

alright best keep moving on this pile of work in front of me

meant to tell you that you might try Traumeel for Patrick - it seems to be helping Bugsy.  The orthodog nervous nellie's say it is due to too much activity but I don't think it is.  Apparently TPLO increases the likelihood of patellar tendinitis so they are all warning me about that, surgeon said he would limp all the time if he had that.  Who knows.

He is running like a fool given any chance so I don't think he's in a ton of pain LOL
