Disappearing Stars - Rating System a Sham

• Chuffy Posted : 2/24/2008 1:45:07 PM  I don't really think the stars are that useful.  Now, if I could rate individual posts - as, say "great post!", "unhelpful", "unpleasant" - sure I would do that.  And I think that would be a good way of flagging up threads which might need a bit more attention from moderators.  But that too can be abused. In any case, I don't think there is scope for that within the forum software.  *shrugs and goes back to ignoring star ratings* 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. They've certainly never influenced my decision to read or respond to anything.
