Below is the email I got from Carla. I'm sure that Ixas maniupulated that fact that Carla likes me and feels like I listen to her to her own benefit, thinking that perhaps I would violate "the rule" and spill something juicy.....no doubt hoping to get me removed as a mod. I think I did OK with THAT curve ball. Here's the pm and my response.....

Was Ixas_Girl banned? Can you tell me why? She doesn't know why. Coyote, too? What's happenin?

Carla, I'm sorry, but what happens between mods/admin and members remains between them unless the member involved chooses to reveal that interaction.

IF anyone was suspended/banned, they would have been sent an email detailing WHY. No one is ever summarily denied access to the forum without first being given a very clear and concise reason. As far as I know, it is not our policy to ban someone without suspensions first. If that has changed, no one has told me.

Whatever is going on with the two members you mentioned is something that they will need to share with others themselves. And if they truly don't understand, they need to address their questions to either Kate or Jaime themselves.

Personally I would have stopped after the first paragraph. It's nice you went further but honestly? That's how you might get trapped. Just my .02 if you receive further PM's.

She knows better than to PM me...I will just give her "please address your concerns to Admin".

OK, that's what I thought. Smile It's just last time I talked with them, they tried to log on and couldn't. That's all they knew. It's none of my business, but I told them I'd ask.

Was Lost given a suspension as well?

Gina, I appreciate the input. I was careful in how I worded anything because I'm fully aware that Carla has crawled into bed with Ixas and has picked her "side" in all this. She pm'd ME because she does like me and I'm absolutely certain Ixas used that to try to trap me into revealing something that I shouldn't. I might be getting old, but the old gray matter still functions, now and then! Tongue Tied

The saddest thing about this is that I doubt Carla knows that Ixas would throw her under a bus in 2 seconds if she needed to.

Interesting. So "they" couldn't get access and "they" didn't know why. Hmmmm. As if. I know that you told us you were sending her an email BEFORE you pulled her plug. Let's stir the pot from the OUTSIDE now....

I sent her a PM, not an email, several hours before suspending her. I PM'd her because, while I have access to her email address, the fact that she has not made it public makes it clear, to me, that she doesn't wish to get correspondence from the forum via email. That's something I'd follow with any member. After the thread this morning, I did go into the admin control panel and get her email address.

She's been fighting it tooth and nail via email...claiming to be innocent of everything, never breaking any rules, only ever having been red-inked twice, never having been warned etc...crazy stuff.

After several emails spelling out the truth to her, I have now refused to discuss it any more. Sigh.

I'm sure you have everything documented.

Needless to say, I'm back. I stayed MOSTLY awake for the whole thing. When it came time for the demoral/versaid (sp) cocktail I asked if they could not give me ALL of it, and let me just be relaxed and not in pain so I could WATCH on the screen. Darned if they didn't find another polop, so will have to have this done again in five more years. Sigh.

Still, I'm one happy camper from the drug combo.......but, darn it. I'm not hungry in the least! Yet.
