Birds~Who wants a bird toy?

My cockatiel Maxy does not play with toys I wish she would destroy them but she doesn't *sigh*. I have tried everything with her but she is just not interested in destroying anything inside or around her cage. The only toy she has in there she will not touch. It has lots of wooded beads and leather string and it is fairly new. I think its been there for over a year now and she has done nothing but pooped on it one time.....The only thing she likes are the seed sticks those she will shred to pieces. If anybody wants it send me a pm and I will give it to you. I can take a picture if you would like to see it. Its good size for cockatiel size birds or larger maybe not Macaw or Cackatoo.

The rafia and paper toys were the only ones my tiel liked.You could try wrapping a spray millet or even some paper strips around the toy to spark some interest.Another thing to try....fill an empty Jell-o box with seeds and secure near a favorite perch.

I have tried entising the toys but she will only eat the treat and not bother with it. I know a lot of bird owners have the hardest time with birds that chew a lot sometimes I wish she was like that. I mean she will chew everything outside the cage but inside oh it would be a miracle if she did.
