An animal shelter in Indiana is closing its doors and the 60+ animals inside will be euthanized if they cannot be transfered out. It's a terribly confusing mess - a new shelter was built for the county but the people in charge have decided that none of the animals from the old county shelter will be allowed to come to the new shelter. The old shelter is scheduled to close this coming week and all animals have to be moved ASAP.
Email me at kmdamianick@yahoo.com with any questions. I will have more information tomorrow on the dogs available, but I do know there are alot of pit/pit mixes and cats. Please forward to anyone you know, rescue or individual, who may be interested in pulling one or some of these animals. Animals not pulled are schedule to be euthanized this week, so we are trying to save as many as possible; transport can likely be arranged in many cases. Contact Kris at kmdamianick@yahoo.com to arrange details ASAP.
