OOH dont get me started on myspace pit bull groups, The ABDA kennel club OR most pit bull weight competitions.

The ABDA who hosts some weight pull for bully breeds dont even require you to give your dog a command to start pulling, they'll alow seething, drooling scary dogs to pull. They dont enforce any laws of steriod use, they allow you to register any dog of any breed with no pedigree which I have no problem with but they look the other way of you want to register your mastiff mix as a pit bull to crush componets.

But as I siad before pit bull myspace groups and a lot of pit bul forums really would make most dog owners cringe. It stinks becasue everytime I've chimed in on one of those forums they tell me my 60lbs pit bull is weak, is too small must be a mutt and will listen to no reason about the breed standard. They cuss, are rude and disrepectful, its awful.

Aurora - I just don't think these people know crap about breed standard. All they care about is beefing up their dog as big as they can and working them to death - literally! It is just sick and repulsive! I get so mad when I see this propaganda..... These dogs are exploited over and over again. "Badass, Tough Guys and their dogs." I am so not impressed. These people are cowards who nothing of really loving and caring about their dogs. Sadly these dogs will never be pets and know how it feels to sleep in their master's bed at night, go for a leisurely walk, wake up and snuggle in the morning, meet other dogs at the park...... I could go on and on, but I just get madder and madder. Sadly, I don't think this will ever end. As long as there are these types of people in the world - and there will be, this will go on. Sorry to ramble.......

Are any of you familiar with this organization??? I'm thinking some of you who have your dogs in agility and competitions may. I was appalled to see on the MySpace Homepage Video section, a video of "Extreme Treadmill Training/Competition." I clicked on it out of curiosity and IMO it looked like a video of a dog being trained for fighting. It was a female Pit Bull running and running and running, while someone off screen was waving some sort of stuffed animal in front of her face. It really pissed me off!  I tried to post a comment, but it wouldn't let me. There wer other links to sites for more videos of this sort. UGH!!
