Report a Puppy Mill Today

I would say that if you wittnessed dogs in sub-standard conditions in violation of the law then yes report it.  But just because you see a web site but don't have any proof that is irresponsible.  In fact that is harrassment. 

How would you like it if someone kept reporting you as a hoarder knowing that you had multiple dogs when they didn't know how those dogs were being kept or a person kept reporting someone as a dog fighter since that had multiple pits.

I have a friend that kept getting reported to animal control because some AR type didn't agree that she should breed dogs.  Good breeder kept wonderful conditions for her dogs but these people just felt that with repeated calls AC could find something wrong and stop her from breeding.  It got so bad that AC started to go after the people making the calls with false reports violations.

I've never been to a puppy mill...and I wish I had the guts to go to try to find something to report...because I bet I would find something right away. But I wouldn't sleep at night worrying about the dogs there...............   

Maybe if we know of a puppy mill that we think is doing something wrong besides just being a puppy mill....maybe we could report them and hopefully get some closed down.

I live in Ohio,,,I believe the second largest puppy mill state right behind Pennsylvania.  I have been to Holms county...the worst for puppy mills.....but didn't know at that time that this peaceful community harbors so many puppy mills. I AM ashamed that my state is known for these puppy mills and wish something would be done about it. I have sent so many letters and emails...signed so many petitions.  Hopefully one day someone can do some good.
