Thanks for all the responses, guys! It's not as easy as you'd think finding this- all the newer editions are animated, and have wires, etc running through their arms and legs. But, guess what- in "honor" of TM Elmo's 10th anniversary, Target has the orginal TM Elmo! Caleb got a brand new one Monday afternoon.

Kobi is a big Elmo fan too! One of my sons picked up a Tickle Me Elmo at a garage sale when Kobi was a puppy. He carried that thing around for 2 yrs. Most of his stuffies he would shread after a month but not Elmo. He loved to hold it in his mouth while it wiggled and giggled. LOL! After 2 years however it lost a leg, then an arm until finally it was nothing but a red rag. I have been on a quest to replace it for almost 3 years now. No luck! I am willing to pay a few good bucks if I can find one. Now he has a Pick me Up Elmo and a plain stuffed one, but they just aren't the same.
I picked up the one Caleb just killed at a yard sale about a year or so after they came out for Mick. He wsn't real thrilled with it. We used it for distractions during training classes for awhile. Our grand daughter played with it for awhile, too. Actually, until last year when we brought Caleb home.
