Thank you for the warning.  But as others have said Reputable breeders don't sell puppies to brokers.  period.

Exactly, as I was streaming down the page reading this I was almost screaming this out to myself!

We will not sell to pet stores, brokers, or even to any sort of third party (such as a gift for parents, a gift for a family member that lives in another home, etc). The only places our pups go are their forever homes. If somebody wishes to buy a dog for another person, such as their parents, that's okay if they are paying for it. But the parents HAVE to know about it, agree to it, and they are the ones who sign the paperwork and pick the pup up if it is picked up.

The scam mentioned with the GSD breeder and the person selling their horse are typical of anyone advertising animals on the internet. Any time I have had ads up for puppies or kits (ferrets) I have gotten multiple replies which were obvious scams. These people are not trying get the animals but trying to get you to give them cash back. This site talks about it:

When my family was looking for a dog, we unfortunately contacted mannny brokers, all of which, however, we refused.  As soon as we heard "oh yes, we have poodles, shepherds, rottweillers..." we hung up.  I have a question, I was looking on kijiji this morning (i love looking at pictures of the dogs and puppies lol) I came across these:

There are 10 more on the 2nd page by the same person, I just noticed a link in their ads to www.mysticpups.com  reading through I just noticed this:

What is your return policy ?

When you purchase a puppy from Mystic Pups you have 24 hours to return your puppy for a full refund assuming the pup remains in good health and has not suffered any trauma.  After this time has passed if you do not want the puppy for a reason other than a genetic health issue we will not take the puppy back. We do however care about what happens to your pup and will often assist you in finding a new home for your puppy assuming it remains in good health and has not suffered any trauma.  If your dog is injured or ill in any way we suggest you take it to your veternarian for advice on where to go from there.

    What exactly is this thing?

It is a RIP OFF .... a reputable breed will make sure you have 3 (bus) days for a full refund based upon them taking the puppy to thier vet to assure you sold a healthy pup to start with. In our mid days of breeding I took an entire litter in at the same time to get the health certificates, 8 puppies were delightful and of course everyone seeing them thought us amazing yet in the process one pupp was looked at twice and another never at all. thankfully our contract insisted on the 3 day vet check... pup was found to have the only heart murmur I have ever produced in our line, we left a National Specialty early to pick him back up had him tested bu the top Cardiac fellow in the States and refunded 100% of the money plus the vet exam.  I was very lucky as I tend to post ALL of our adventures on our breed list and a lurker who later became a dear , dear friend asked if they could have the boy. I agreed and delivered him to California in our RV , the price for the pup didn't cover gas one way But he is in the most awesome of homes and is almost 8 years old . Some one who gives you 24 hours is counting on parvo and other illnesses not showing up, they are hoping you won't have access to a vet until Monday and they expect if they are shipping for you to spend that first day cooing over the new pup not checking them out. They may buy litters or they may be an outright puppy mill , Hunte Corp comes to mind ... they have ad exects and a team of lawyers to keep them looking shiney and new but if ou have seen the conditions  the pups are whelped in and the isolation of the stock you understand there is no love of any thing but your credit card or check book.... We always say if they'll take a credit card they didn't breed this pup themselves, sweating the details and loving that furkid from it's first yowl on...
