I'm also interested in stories or stats on urban or industrial areas that are kind of like no-man's lands where stray/feral animals live, almost as if "in the wild". I'm putting together a class for art and design students, in which creative probelm solving is applied to community issues. I'd like my students to create projects around the joys and sorrows of strays/feral animals in these urban wastelands. Any help you can provide will be much appreciated! Very eye-opening and inspiring (PM me and I'll mail it to you if you want it). Randy's site does have some good info on true ferals and strays.
