The quoted article is pretty nonsensical in my opinion. Many Feral cats come from owners that have cats that are not S/N, and they just turn them loose on the streets.  Now you have a situation where they multiply like crazy.  In our condo development, several unspayed females have been left outside by stupid owners, and now there are several litters of kittens running around. If we had a S/N law, the number of these situations would be dramatically reduced. Once the cats are Feral, there is very little that anyone can do about the situation. • Pat Zapf Posted : 6/21/2007 8:05:14 AM There ae feral cats in my neighborhood.  They have been feral for years.  In fact, a long pedigree of feral.  Weird.  Dogs and cats started out feral...  Why are we trying to alter nature again?   Yeah.  Unless they can catch the cats (which they cant get them all), it wont help.  We tried it here, to catch, spay/neuter, then either release or find homes for.  OMG release, what were they thinking?  Well...  a wild animal is still a wild animal.  You wouldnt try to find a home for a deer...  In the end, it didnt work.  Oh well, guess it is the way God intended. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
