Good article comparing BSL to genocide

This article is very good.  It goes through and compares BSL to genocide.  Very well written and thought out.  The author gets their point across in a very factual a not opinionate way(if that makes sense). You can tell the author cares, but you get the feeling that he can step back from it emotionally and really just look at the facts.  Please cross-post!

It is a good article.  People need to wake up and see that it is not the breed of dog 98% of the time that it is more then likely the owner who is at fault.  Why should those people who have wonderful pets regardless of breed lose them because of other people who are bad.  I had a Rottie and he was an absolutely wonderful dog.  He passed away in January.  I chose to get another dog that would be very different then him because I did not want to compare the two to one another.  But I would get another rottie down the road.

What about the insurance companies who don't want to insure you do to the breed of dog you have?

That is the problem with insurance companies., they do not have to have any reason to not insure your property if you have a dog and it does NOT matter what breed. I feel insurance is nothing more than a scam and they get away with a lot. I have had insurers cancel because one fella asked me if my dogs bite... I said kiddingly, they have teeth don't they, next thing I know they cancelled out on me. At the time I didn't have any dogs they would precieve as "Bad" or "Dangerous" dogs. Ugh, the whole thing ticks me right off!
