I am BEGGING please make polite and professional calls, send faxes and write letters. Make this Judge understand that if Tramp had not been chained outside he would have given his life to protect her from the burgulars but instead, he died because she abandoned him to starve and freeze, suffering horrendous pain!

    Updated Court Information:
The case is moving very slowly through district court. Ms. Glover's attorney had a mental evaluation done...now she's scheduled for a suppression hearing on August 23rd, to try to throw out evidence at the scene or statements she made to police. The judge will probably take that under advisement.

    Wow.

Can you imagine how Tramp must've felt?  Starving, lonely, freezing cold, forgotten?

Might I suggest "an eye for an eye" ???  :(  Poor guy.

I'm glad you're posting and calling attention to chaining. The biggest problem I see in this country is the fact that animals are only viewed as property, therefore have no rights. The people that abuse them rarely suffer any consequences for their actions. When people are born without moral centers, they need the law to keep them on the straight and narrow. When there are no laws to punish the evil, it doesn't stop. Only when people band together and don't stop making noise until someone listens, will the suffering begin to end.

I'm actually writing a series of articles on this topic. The first part I just published a couple of days ago and I'm getting set to publish the next one today or tomorrow. Here's the link.

Pass the link on to everyone you know. It will help educate people about this issue and give them some tips (in the next 2 articles) on what to do.

Thanks again for talking about this issue.
