I like some of the staple reality shows like Survivor, America Idol and of course Lost!  But I am really looking forward to some new shows this fall like; Hank, the good wife, melrose place, Eastwick and Vampire diaries.  Can't wait for new shows hate the summer TV.

I love HGTV and the Food Network.  We watch 30 Rock, Planet Earth and  Antiques Roadshow.  We watched So You Think You Can Dance this last time around and I enjoyed watching the dancers but I can't stand that woman judge, the one who does the train thing.  Dancing with the Stars is fun and American Idol too.  I like Storm Stories on the Weather Channel.

The Office and Gossip Girl are the only shows I follow. The Office is great because every episode is full of awkward moments and general funnyness, lol, and GG is just dramatic and a guilty pleasure.

I dont watch TV that much right now. If i do its only at night. I'd rather be outside as much as possible before winter comes, cause then there is nothing to do besides watch TV. But in the winter when im stuck inside, i lovelovelove watching House. And almost anything on animal planet.

I probably watch too much t.v. We watch House, Criminal Minds, In Plain Sight, Saving Grace, Closer, Dark Blue, Sons of Anarchy, Scrubs (even re-runs), Monk (this is the last season), Psych, Leverage, just to name a few.

We are also excited about the new "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" epsiodes with Jeff Goldblum.

We also watch the food channel and we like Guy Fieri's shows, "Guy's Big Bite" and "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." I really like "Down Home with the Neely's" and fancy DW and I as the Texas equivalent of them. We often work on a dish together. I learned about home-made sweet rubs from them. And I'm the grillmaster, as well. Something satisfying about starting a fire and throwing some meat on it (apologies to vegetarians and vegans.) Also, Ghiada's shows. We used to watch Rachel Ray's "30-minute Meals" all the time. I will sometimes watch Alton Brown's shows.

Oooh, thanks for all the suggestions.  There are a few that I used to like and lapsed a season or so, so those'll be fun to catch up on.  I'll try a few new ones as well.  I do like Ice Road Truckers when I catch it, and The Office.

Sharon, I watched the Serenity movie.  I was so excited about it, but (not to give out spoilers), the sad part is so sad.  Lol, I'll catch it again and see if I feel the same way about it.

Huskymom, Firefly is a western set in the future, like intergalatic cowboys.  The characters and dialogue are really well-done.  I think it's on hulu if you want to catch a few episodes and see if you like it.

I was watching Warehouse 13 and enjoying that...but since football season started I kinda just let that ride. Waiting on Chuck to start up again. Really nothing else interests me. I mean I see stuff I'd probably like...but if it doesn't hook me hard right away I just lose interest. Chuck is probably the only one I keep up with...oh and I watch MasterPiece Theater when they have classics or the Mystery! series with a detective I like...mainly period ones, not the current ones.

The Warehouse 13 was a lot of fun, reminiscent of the old tv show "Friday the 13th" where they collect cursed objects and put them in a safehouse to keep the world safe..good characters and the actors are likeable...the dialogue is witty and the stories are pretty fast paced. It's on SyFy.

My DH loves those 2 shows and "Man vs. Food"!

Guy Fieri opened a restaurant nearby several months ago. It's called Johnny Garlics. A friend of mine, who's also a fan, and I went there for dinner. It was outstanding!!

Before I read all the posts, I figured no one would mention two of my summer favorites -- Monk and Psych -- so I was surprised to see that Joyce, Cathy and Ron mentioned them!  Another summer favorite is Rescue Me with Denis Leary.  It just ended last week with a major cliff-hanger. Surprise

I'm looking forward to several shows returning this fall:  House, 30 Rock, The Office, and Lost.  I saw the premiere of Glee -- I think I'm going to like that a lot.  I also watch a lot of PBS --- Masterpiece Theatre, Mystery, Charlie Rose.  God bless the person who invented the DVR.  I couldn't tolerate the commercials if I had to sit through them for all these shows!  It's also a good thing we don't have HBO -- I know that has many shows I'd get hooked on, too!

Oh I forgot...Sons Of Anarchy...I had to give it up as it was really intense and making me have weird dreams LOL. But I do like the show...just wish I could handle the things that go on, better...lol.

Since nothing is really on during the summer, I netflixed the first two seasons of Big Love. Sooo good. I may have to get HBO just to watch seasons 3 and 4...LOL.

We are total Big Love fans!  We are addicted!!

I love TV, I admit it.  We DVR a lot of stuff, and I watch as I fold clothes before bed or when I am on the treadmill.  Here are my favs.

Food Network:  Mission Impossible, Barefoot Contessa. Good Eats

HGTV:  House Hunters and House Hunters International

Discovery:  Cash Cab - my new addiction.  I just love this show.

TLC:  Jon and Kate Plus 8.  Yes, I know they are a train wreck, but I just can't turn my head!

TV Land:  Gunsmoke from the 60's and 70's.  I know it sounds stupid, but we love this show.  Our Friday nights usually consist of hanging out having a few beers and watching old western TV shows.  We are so pathetic and old.

LOL!  We watched the Andy Griffith show last night, it was the show where Aunt Bea came to stay with them.  Opie didn't like her at all because she couldn't fish or catch frogs.  Really funny.  Yeah, we're old too, much older than you guys!

    I love Cash Cab too!

Hmmm, I have the TV on all the time but I'm not necessarily watching (I do computer stuff on the side on top of my regular job, or I'm doing housework or training dogs).  For "reality" I like Intervention, So You Think You Can Dance, America's Best Dance Crew, and Survivor.  For shows I like Criminal Minds, CSI, Fringe, and House.
