Children in dog parks....thoughts?

Sera, that is awful.  I'm sitting here with my mouth open, even though I know there are people that are that stupid.

I would have been a ranting and raving crazy woman.

I'm sure that this is aggravating to parents, the idea that people wouldn't want you to bring your children to the dog park.

I don't find it irritating at all.  Because if (god forbid) something DID happen, then by default the fault would be yours.  I could take you to court and sue you for compensation becuase my chiold is now hideously scarred for the rest of his life and it would be no good you saying "well she came in here with him, she knows the risk!"  And if there WAS an aggressive dog with a not-so-savvy owner (and guess what, they DO exist!  I know! Shock horror!  I was utterly dumbfounded when I found out! [&:]) and my kid loses his FACE, well I don't think that argument will be much comfort to him either.

Edit: Even MY OWN dogs are segregated from my baby much of the time.  As wonderful as they are and as much as I trust them, it's just Not Worth The Risk.  There are too many What Ifs to cope with.  And thats MY OWN dogs.  HOW some parents can be so blase about STRANGE dogs is beyone me.  Utterly beyond me.
