Mindless chatter - Wed

I am so unmotivated!  It stinks.  We are off Friday and Monday so I just have tomorrow left, but I have so much stuff to do.  It is amazing outside today 80 and sunny and the same with tomorrow.  Hopefully it will be nice this weekend since I am meeting up Max's Mom at a dock jumping contest with Riley, Charlie and DH.  I am so excited since it will be my first i-dog meetup as well as the first time going to an official dog event.

I get my stiches out on Friday morning and I can't wait.  They are itching like crazy.

ooh, I am so jealous!  Have fun, Lisa.  I would love to go to a dock diving event but haven't seen one close enough to me. 

Beautiful day today, clear blue skies, cool mornings and warm afternoons.  NOT our normal weather for this time of year and I'm loving it.  I talso gives us a breather at work and time to catch up on jobs that weren't high priority. 

I am just about at my limit with my friends drama over their break up.  Arrrgh!  DH tells me not to let it get to me, but when you care about both of them, it's pretty hard to just act like everything is hunky dory.  I am not the only mutual friend caught up in their problems and now we are banded together and trying to help each other cope with the couple.  Misery loves company is a very good description of the whole, sorry mess.

Yep, it's even nice 2 hours north of Detroit!  My dandelions will hit a super growth spurt now...LOL

Owner meeting today, so I must stay off this place today.

You know, I was thinking last night that we haven't seen much of Janet or Kate.  Hope all is well with them.

Got my Victoria's Secret order yesterday and am wearing one of my new brasierres.  I must say it becomes me!  Hooray for good fitting undergarments!

Agree!  Good fitting undergarments make for a very good day!

Its absolutely beautiful here in S.E. Texas.  Clear blue skies...crisp air...nice and cool, very unusual.  But, we'll take it for sure.

These Shingles are getting very tiresome.  I am left fatigued; and this rash is quite bothersome.  Argh!  I put some Aloe gel on it last night, finally.  Don't know why I didn't do it earlier.  It really gave me some relief. 

I finish the meds today...then back to the doctor tomorrow.  I wonder if he will put me on another round?

I will have a very busy evening, so I need to rest today.  Its Wednesday, payroll at DH's shop.  And, I have several pay applications (monthly billings) to prepare.

I too am THOROUGHLY unmotivated this week. I actually am rather caught up at work so I am doing file clean up (BORING) but it is mindless and I don't really want to do anything. 

I am looking forward to my weekend too. I can't wait to meet you Lisa!!! I too have a 4 day but mine starts Sat and I am taking Tuesday to recover. LOL So far the weather looks pretty good for the weekend too. It might rain on Monday BUT my agility trial on Monday is indoors so if it does that would be the day I would want. 

It is gorgeous outside right now. I would rather go ride and hang out in the sun and warmth today!  I am so glad summer is coming.

My doggies are all great! Belle earned her UKC UACH last weekend. I wanted it on her birthday which was Saturday, but we finished on Sunday. Teddi is doing great (knock on wood) she has been playing in agility again too. If all goes well I hope to try a CPE trial with her late summer. Maxine is NUTS!!!! We put all the dogs on salmon oil, and she has definitely been recharged. We are contemplating putting her on Adequan (Belle and Teddi are on it now) I just don't know if I can handle how good she may come out feeling. LOL She is not slowing down. I am happy about that. 

Tonight is the Idol finale YEAH That means So You Think You Can Dance starts next week. I am ready for Idol to be done. It kind of bored me this year. I know Adam will win, I just do not care for him but I do not deny he can sing. 

I will try to stop in more regularly but June is our month end. We will see how busy I get.

My doc didn't but I was much improved after the first round of meds.  Either way, I hope you get over them soon...   Tiresome hardly covers what it's like.  I never tried aloe and I have two big plants!!  'slaps forehead'  sheesh.  My pups send you lots of doggie kisses and I send you hugs and sympathy.

 I think I'm braindead this morning.  I just spent the last 30 seconds or so staring out the window trying to see the rain.  Turnis out it was just the kettle beginning to boil. 

I wish someone would join the forum from somewhere near me.  I think the closest is VanMorrison I think.  Thats still a good 6 hours away.  BUT if Megan gets accepted to UMD, I'll have to go down for a game or two...

It's nice here as well.  Should be about 67 and sunny today!  I'm glad for temps a bit cooler.

I've started a walking program at work aiming to get 10,000 steps in per day.  Wish me luck :-D.

I am having a not too bad day at work so far.  I got a lot accomplished, I got in at 7:30 revised my documents then went to the lawyer's house to help her son with his school project lol then from there I went to court and am back now :D  And it's only 9:40!  Usually I am waiting hours at court, but I was third in line!  wooohooooo

And now I have some other work to catch up on before the lawyer gets in.  I have my lunch here today and I am happy for that, nooo spending money!

Oh another glorious day of less than 80+ humid degrees!  Sunny, but cooler and a wonderful breeze!  Would have been nice to have had this kind of weather when we first got here and were acting like pack mules!

So, today is the meeting with the house owners.  Cross those fingers please that all goes well since I really WANT this house.

It looks like the ELECTRICIAN is going to be the one who can put the hole in this darned bomb shelter wall.  The RediMix guys suggested that I call them and since no one else has gotten back to us about our hole, I called the guys who did the electrical work, and lo and behold, he can do the job.  All we know for sure is that it's a 3 ft cinder block wall.  What we don't know is if someone filled it with concrete or used rebar to strengthen the bomb shelter for the governor and the President in case they should be in this part of the world when the Cuban missiles flew........

Corky is getting much more adventuresome when we take her out of her pool and let her walk on the grass.  She seems less aprehensive about walking around a bit now.  But, bless her little duck heart, she comes right back to me when I call her.  Thought DH was going to bust a gut laughing when I told him we needed to work on her recall.  She's a DUCK, says he......well yeah, but she's growing up with dogs so she's going to need to learn how to walk with them eventually......

Today is my last day this week and I am so happy about it!  We are going to Austin to visit my cousin this weekend.  I am really excited to get out of town!  I don't know how I am going to fit the baby, her stuff our stuff and the dogs and their stuff in my car though.  lol!

I am super stoked!  I called my MIL on Monday and offered to split airfair if they would come down here in August for hubby's bday.  She totally agreed and we are suprising him for his BD.  I really hope I can keep it a suprise.  He always finds them out somehow.  I am not even going to tell him I have something in store until he starts talking about what he wants for his birthday and then I will tell him I already got him something really special...and then the pestering will begin!  But unless she or I slip up, there aren't very many ways he would be able to find out about it anyway!  He is going to love it and I am so glad she will get to come and see her granddaughters again...Devin was just a newborn the last time she was here and has changed so much!

Tomorrow I plan to clean house, laundry and get stuff ready for our weekend trip.  I also want to keep working on the furniture I am painting in my SD's room.  The first piece looks great!
