First time; I was 18 he was 19 2 kids and 3 1/2 years later divorce.

second time; I was 22 he was 24 no kids and 3 1/2 years later divorce.

"3rd times a charm" lol! I was 30 he was 39 we have been very happily married and still in love like newlyweds for 23 years!!!

By the way I forgot!!!! Congrats and have a great time!!

I guess I am the only idiot on here!!! I was 16 and he was 21 been married 7 years this past December!! We were married on December 1, 2001 and Madison was born December 12, 2003!!

I was 20, DH was 21. We have been together 30 years, married 27 of them. How theheck did the time go by soooo fast?

I had just turned 18, he was, around 39, I thought God watched out for drunk and fools;-) we were married too many years. I would have no problem marrying someone older now, but I have life experience. I no longer with the man harm, I don't wish him anything at all. It causes me a lot of shame, why I don't know.

Why are you calling yourself an idiot? You seem to be making it work and you seem to have a good head on your shoulders. None of us have all the answers and there are plenty of people out there a lot older than you are that haven't lasted seven years.

I was 23 the first time I got married and I was 36 the second time I got married. For those of you doing the math, this last March, I turned 45.

First marriage, I was 18 and he was 20 (we'd started dating when I was 15). We divorced just short of our 21st anniversary . Second marriage, I was 44 and he was 38. We'll have been married 8 yrs in Oct.

Sounds like us. First marriage I was 20 and he was 24, been together since I was 14! Divorced at 12 years and had two wonderful children. Twenty years later I married my best friend of 10 years, I was 42 and he was 33 - I was also 8 months pregnant (planned) - we've been very happily married for 8 years!!
